Entry requirements

Applicants don’t need any prior experience or qualifications to enrol on the AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in Bookkeeping, but it’s best suited to those who have reasonable numeracy and communication skills and an interest in business and finance.

You must be over 19, and if English isn’t your first language, you’ll need an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent. Students must also have access to Microsoft Word and Excel to complete the course.

Assessment

You’ll be assessed through four computer-based AAT exams sat at your local AAT centre.

There are two computer-based assessments for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping course, and two computer-based assessments for the AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping.

You’ll also complete online mock tests throughout your course to ensure you’re well-prepared for your exams.

Please note that your AAT exam fees and other fees aren’t included in the course cost.
