Course overview
Understand criminal behaviour
The Certificate in Criminal Psychology will teach you the fundamentals of understanding criminal behaviour and its origins. This ranges from social theories to labelling theory and individual differences. This will give you a sound foundation of how crime is conceptualised and will allow you to better understand the thoughts, behaviours, and motivations of criminals and those who engage in behaviour beyond the boundary of what is considered socially acceptable. It will also develop your understanding of how psychology is used in law enforcement and crime prevention.
