Entry requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree at a level equivalent to a UK second-class Honours degree
- For International applicants whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band), or equivalent
- The school will consider non-standard applicants who can demonstrate that they have work experience for a period of 3 years via a Curriculum Vitae and/or LinkedIn profile.

The supporting documents for the programme are:
- Bachelor’s degree (where applicable) at a level equivalent to a UK second-class Honours degree.
- A reference letter from a current or previous manager HR department or a person in a position of authority is required as supporting evidence.
- Personal identification documents e.g passport or I.D.
- A personal statement (approx. 3-500 words) and/or video presentation about why you want to study this programme.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (POE) where applicable.
- POE exemption may be offered to students. Please speak to a Student Success Consultant to discover whether you are eligible for an exemption.

Subjects
The part-time Online MPH with Leadership in Public Health Practice is 180 Credits and comprises of core modules followed by a final research project.
The aims of this module are to enable students to critically examine and reflect upon the complexities of organisational change, design and development. Students will develop insights to enable understanding, knowledge and skills for developing change.
The aims of this module are to enable students to explore how their skills and attributes are informed by leadership and management theories, reflecting on practice when managing and leading people within an international and/or multi-cultural context.
The aims of this module are to enable students to develop an understanding of the theory, principles and practice of public health in the United Kingdom and Internationally.
The aims of this module are to enable students to ascertain the determinants of key communicable and non-communicable conditions and scrutinise how these may be mitigated through the use of public health interventions.
Students will be able to explore available evidence in order to determine appropriate national-level interventions across a range of healthcare systems.
The aims of this module are to enable students to demonstrate an understanding of levels of evidence and their hierarchy. Students are expected to engage in a dialogue with tutors and other students to identify relevant questions that reflect their speciality areas and personal interests.
Students are required to systematically and critically construct sensitive and specific search strategies to answer a specific evidence-based research question.
Using an appropriate tool, Students will critically appraise relevant evidence in order to determine quality and appropriateness within the context of their practice and conduct a research project by critically examining and applying the principles and practice of Public Health. This may include a critical review of existing literature or existing data.
The aims of this module are to enable students to apply quantitative and qualitative research approaches to the advancement and practice of public health across the domains of health improvement, health protection and healthcare services.
The aims of this module are to build on the learning gained from Public Health Research and Epidemiology -part 1, to address the significance of epidemiology in determining what factors are associated with diseases (risk factors), and what factors may protect people against diseases (protective factors).
